QCell Selects Inman Solar For Turn-Key Distributed Generation

Inman Solar has been selected by Qcells North America to perform turn-key EPC scope for a 6.45MWdc solar farm in Alton, IL. The output of the facility is sold to Alton Steel under a Power Purchase Agreement and ultimately interconnected to the Ameren Illinois grid. Portions of the site are considered brownfield by the Illinois EPA and the racking will use ballasted foundations to prevent any impact to the underlying soils. Construction will use local union labor and meet the Minimum Equity Standards specified by the Illinois Adjustable Block Program. The project is expected to be energized in the spring of 2024.
