Power Premium from Utility: Tennessee Valley Authority has one of the best incentives in the Southeast. They will pay a premium from $0.12 per kWh generated above their GSR1 rate, which currently works out to about $0.22 per kWh generated. This rate will increase over the ten year purchase agreement with TVA.

Bonus Depreciation: Commercial customers can take advantage of accelerated depreciation for solar property. In the first year, you can depreciate between 60 - 100% of the basis in the property.
