Inman Solar is looking for an experienced on-site Construction Manager to oversee the mechanical and electrical installation. In this role, you will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, creating work schedules, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting system issues. You will be supervising a crew of subcontractors, electricians, mechanical, fencing, and general labor on ground-mounted solar farms and acting as the point-of-contact with the customer.
To ensure success as a Construction Manager, you should exhibit strong leadership and planning skills and have sound knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems. A top-class Construction Manager will ensure that all the work done on site is completed on time and to code, requiring the installers to pay attention to detail and adherence to construction drawings and specifications.
Inman Solar is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Pre-Construction Engineer. Working as an integral part of a knowledgeable and experienced team, the candidate will be involved in civil-design and pre-construction-related aspects of solar projects and will see projects from conceptual design through start of mechanical installation and ultimately support with final completion. The candidate will be responsible for creating civil-related drawings used to communicate scopes of work to consultants and subcontractors (e.g. staking plans for surveyors, Bill-of-Material takeoffs for civil pricing and inputs for grading models). Responsibilities also include managing internal and external resources performing on-site pre-con activities, verifying that work adheres to standards and design, resolving RFIs and ensuring proper seamless handoff from pre-con to vertical construction. The Pre-Construction Engineer is an integral part of the project team reporting progress and schedule to project management.
Inman Solar is seeking a motivated engineer for the position of Design Engineer. Working as an integral part of a knowledgeable and experienced team, the candidate will be involved in all aspects of solar project design and engineering and will see projects from conceptual design to final completion. The candidate will be responsible for creating design drawings and coordinating between design, procurement and construction. The role will require a strong understanding of the electrical and physical considerations of PV systems. A high level of project management and communication skills will be valuable to ensure a quality project is delivered on time and on budget.
The Design Engineer will work under direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
