Our History
Inman Solar was founded in 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. Beginning with small commercial rooftop systems, solar canopies, and residential systems, Inman Solar quickly grew and eventually focused on solar projects that make the most impact on the environment. Inman Solar completed the first solar farm in Georgia Power’s Advanced Solar Initiative in 2014 and since then has installed more MW of distributed generation solar projects for Georgia Power than any other solar developer.
Inman Solar is a leading utility-scale solar installer in the southeast. We don’t stop there. As projects began to scale with increasing demand Inman Solar began to focus on internal leadership. Creating a leadership team constructed with an emphasis on entrepreneurial drive and seamless teamwork. Winning multiple awards and earning the 2019 Georgia Power Distributed Generation and 2020 Georgia Power Distributed Generation contract has set Inman Solar aside as a leader in utility-solar.
