About Inman Solar

Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Inman Solar is a full-service solar energy company committed to creating renewable-energy solutions across the eastern United States. Inman was founded in 2009 with a focus on rooftop and behind-the-meter solar projects. In the nearly two decades since, we’ve grown into region-leading a turnkey EPC contractor and solar developer specializing in community solar and distributed generation installations. Our focus is the development, design, and construction of front-of-meter, utility interconnected DG and utility-scale solar projects.

Inman Solar has completed projects in 12 states and the District of Columbia, and with over 200 installations to our credit, we’ve built a strong footprint in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast. We partner closely with landowners, communities. and local governments to ensure projects are executed in a way that respects local context, maximizes resource use, and leaves a lasting positive impact.

President

Mr. Fossitt is an engineer by training, but shifted from technical sales roles into an executive with proven capability of building and managing successful organizations. As the Founder of Inman Solar, he has overseen the growth of the company to the largest Distributed Generation Contractor in the Southeast. Prior to this entrepreneurial foray, Mr. Fossitt built and sold two companies in process instrumentation and telecommunications.

Mr. Lehmussaari has in-depth engineering expertise in managing different design disciplines in thermal and solar power generation. Since joining Inman Solar in 2016, he has worked in every aspect of developing, engineering, constructing, and commissioning solar farms, as well as managing a fleet of assets. This comprehensive solar background positions him to lead capably in his current role in development and sales.
